Republish this story

In 2021, The 19th intends to scale our journalism and our audience — and we need to scale our revenue to do it. That’s why we’re thrilled to report that we’re bringing two new colleagues aboard to run our fundraising efforts.

Anne Musial is joining as our director of foundation philanthropy. She was most recently at Taylor Collective Solutions, the Austin-based nonprofit consulting firm that supported our fundraising last year. Anne led that work with us as she identified potential donors, wrote foundation grants and managed grant reporting. She has been an invaluable resource and we’re thrilled she’s joining us full time.

Our new director of individual philanthropy is Jennifer Ajluni, who comes to us from The Texas Tribune, where she was the development officer. Prior to that, she worked in political fundraising both nationally and in Texas. She is passionate about our mission and our work, and we are so excited to have her joining the team.

The 19th thanks our sponsors. Become one.

Please help in welcoming both Anne and Jenny to The 19th!
