The 19th Celebrates

International Women’s Day

Originally aired on March 7, 2023
Presented by The New York Women’s Foundation

The 19th traveled to New York City for the first time for a special in-person and online event to kick off International Women’s Day. Our editor-at-large, Errin Haines, interviewed U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield.

In case you missed it, the live, wide-ranging conversation explored her career in foreign service, the state of gender equality around the world, and how the Biden administration is centering women and girls in their policies.
