The State of Reproductive Rights

Originally aired on Jan. 26, 2022

Across the country, the landscape of reproductive rights is rapidly changing. Since the U.S. Supreme Court’s conservative majority expanded, Republican-led states have advanced new restrictions that reduce access to abortion or outlaw it altogether. Meanwhile, states like Illinois and California are developing legislation to protect reproductive rights and establish themselves as safe regions for access to health care.

Join The 19th for critical conversations on the rapidly changing landscape of reproductive rights around the country, as well as how limited abortion access could impact the health care system more broadly.
